Terms of Service for ProctorLink

1. Agreement to Terms

By using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the services.

2. Description of Service

ProctorLink provides a platform for educational institutions and organizations ("Organizers") to create, manage, and administer online exams for their users ("Students").

3. User Accounts

Organizers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Student Conduct and Proctoring

To maintain academic integrity, Students agree to the following conditions during an exam:

  • You must grant the application access to your device's camera. Your camera feed will be visible on your screen during the exam.
  • You are prohibited from switching browser tabs or applications. Doing so will trigger a warning.
  • Copying, pasting, or any form of screen capture is disabled and prohibited.
  • Repeated violations of these rules may result in the automatic termination of your exam session at the discretion of the Organizer.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ProctorLink and its licensors.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ProctorLink, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page.
